Itinerary:
Day 1
As you arrive we will get to know each other and refresh ourselves with a Turkish tea or coffee.
All refreshed it’s time to start exploring Antakya Old City followed by dinner in a very quiet and relaxing place, Dafne Waterfalls.
Day 2
To better understand the history, after hotel breakfast, will visit Hatay Archeology Museum where you will be impressed by the well preserved mosaics dating from Roman Empire and for the Hittites artifacts found in the area.
Next stop will delight us with a traditional desert and our first attempt of cooking Turkish food. We will start our meze cooking class not without understanding what the purpose of meze is in Turkish gastronomy.
Happy and full after this brunch we will visit St Peter Church, the placed believed to be the first one where he preached about Christianity.
Antakya bazar and a small olive oil store are also waiting for us today to delight our senses with different smells, colors and flavors.
In the evening we will have a walk in Ataturk Park, have the most delicious desert in the world, Kunefe, and continue the stories about Turkish culture.

Day 3
After a coffee in the hotel we will have a fresh and healthy breakfast in the middle of the nature followed by a short trip to Vafliki village – the single Armenian Village left in Turkey.
We will have lunch with locals and time to buy their own homemade produced goods (jams, wine, liquors,) and we will even prepare our own jam.
After this culinary experience we will head to Vespasiannus Titus Tunnel, a tunnel build in the first century AD that will offer us a nice and relaxing walk but also interesting perspectives on how were people building huge tunnels almost 2000 years ago.
Dinner will take place just near by the tunnel with a beautiful sunset and delicious fish plates.
Day 4
After breakfast we will head to Adana – 2.30 hours driving with wonderful landscapes.
Of course our day in Adana will start with an Adana kebab and a short tour of this beautiful city.
Before dinner we will have our third cooking experience to see if there is something different in this area. This will be a contest between all group participants with a special traditional prize.
Day 5
Another history lesson will be held today in Adana Archeology Museum.
After this we need a good lunch and the well know tea. In case your glucose went down we are prepared with a pastry cooking class which will make your trip in Turkey a the sweetest memory.
Dinner will take place on the way back to Antakya.
Day 6
We will share impressions and thoughts after this 5 days spent together. Accordingly to your flight schedule we will transfer you to the airport.
