You will get to know us and we will get to know you by having a Turkish tea or coffee after your airport pick up. Hoping you will be refreshed we will start with a short tour in Antakya Old City Center followed by a nice and cozy dinner in a restaurant from the city center.
Our cultural experience will start today Hatay Archeology Museum, the world largest mosaic museum as per the latest discoveries. Starting from Homo sapiens period the museum takes us to a journey through all periods until Islamic times. Beautiful mosaic collections dating from Roman Empire or Hittites artifacts are waiting to be discovered.
We all know the importance of St Peter in religious history and it looks like he first preached about Christianity here in Antakya and you will get the chance to visit this place called today St Peter Church.
After this history lessons we will delight ourselves with a traditional lunch in one of Antakya’s oldest restaurants, Hatay Sultan Sofrasi. Habibbi Neccar Mosque – first Mosque in Anatolia will also be waiting for us with interesting stories today.
Dinner will take place in Dafne waterfalls followed by a desert in Meclis Kunefe – a historical place with the best kunefe we have ever tried.
Today will be a day dedicated to nature and we will start it with a breakfast outside the hotel, in the middle of the nature, continued by a visit to St Simeon Church. Besides the ruins of this imense church this place is also offering breathtaking views.
Vafliki village, the single Armenian village left in Turkey is a perfect place to spend few hours, to have delicious lunch and even have some shopping as the small community from here is selling homemade produced goods. One more stop today and we will visit Vespasianus Titus Tunnel, build in the first century during Vespasian, Titus and Antoninus Pius ages, a tunnel that can deviate water even nowadays due to its well preservation.
For dinner we will remain near the sea in Samadag to enjoy a nice sunset and local fish dishes.
Today we will start our journey in the morning with a ride to Cappadocia where we will arrive just in time for a good lunch with stunning views. After lunch we will just have a walk into the city, enjoy a shopping session and why not also a photo one as each part of this city is full with something magic.
For dinner we will not only enjoy some more delicious Turkish food but also an aromatic wine tasting in a very nice and cozy cave restaurant.
All excited we will start our day just before sunrise. Well known for magic views we will enjoy this unique sunrise on a terrace with a cup of coffee or from a hot air balloon.
Afterwards, will return to hotel for breakfast and a 6 hours guided tour in Cappadocia where Kaymakli Underground City is waiting for us with untold stories and Goreme open air museum will surprise us with its landscapes.
Another day, another beautiful destination, Gaziantep. We will reach Gaziantep just in time for lunch in this very well-known city for its gastronomy. After lunch we will take a walk into the city and spices bazar.
Dinner will take place in one of Gaziantep’s oldest restaurant.
Hopefully not tired we will enjoy today a visit to the second largest mosaic museum in the world, Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where we will find a lot about the begging of this civilization. Also a guided tour will take us to Gaziantep Castle .
Time to go back to Antakya today for a last day in this beautiful country. A surprise lunch will be waiting for you today in Antakya followed by free time or some optional activities like visit an olive oil soap factory, relax in a SPA, spend some time hiking the hills of Antakya.
